I know that summer is coming to an end soon which sounds so unreal! It started not long ago and we are in the final month already? But this does not hold me back from enjoying some of my favorite, classic cocktails without alcohol. (Ehm… for now)
I always loved cocktails from a very young age and since I was drinking them without alcohol I became a master making these drinks.
Before I show you these yummy drinks I have to tell you that I just unconsciously stopped using sugar everywhere about a year ago, so I’m not putting any sugar in them only the ones that the juices I bought already contain and maybe some alternative sweeteners.
So you can enjoy these drinks even if you are following a diet or you just not a fan of getting diabetes after a cocktail.
This was the first cocktail that I’ve ever tasted and it’s one of my favorites since then. Over the years I developed a recipe that’s perfect for my taste.
For 4 deciliters:
- 1 lemon
- Half a lime
- Mint leaves (depending on your taste)
- Sugar or sweeteners depending on your taste (I put 2 teaspoon of Erythritol in it)
Squeeze out the the lemon and lime into a glass.
Put in the mint leaves and squeeze them so the taste will come out. (Most of it is in the stem of the plant)
Put in the sweetener than pure water on it (sparkling if you prefer that).
Mix them all together and viola. Here is your Virgin Mojito!
2.Virgin Pina Colada
To be honest. From all of these recipes the Mojito is the hardest. The recipe of the Virgin Pina Colada is way easier.
You will need:
- (Sugarfree) coconut milk
- Pineapple juice
So the 3/5 of the drink is coconut milk, this will make the drink sweeter and creamy and then 2/5 is pineapple juice. If you have a shaker use that to mix them together, but if you can stir it with a spoon too. Just make sure they blend together fully.
3. Safe Sex on the Beach
When I’m talking about and easy cocktail, this is it. This is the easiest cocktail ever if we are looking at how simple the making is and the ingredients can be found anywhere. Let’s see what do you need for a Safe Sex on the Beach.
The things you will need:
- Orange juice
- Cranberry juice
And again the ratio is 3/5 orange juice and 2/5 cranberry juice. The only tricky part is to make the layer of this cocktail. Usually the cranberry juice is below and the orange juice on top. To be honest I don’t care about it that much, because I’m mixing this cocktail up whenever I have one, but I tried layering it for this blog post.
Pure the orange juice in the cup and then try slowly adding the cranberry juice on the side while bending the glass a little. This is how it went for me.
So here is three of my favorite and easiest non alcoholic cocktails ever. I hope you will be able to try these out before summer ends. But no one ever said you can only enjoy cocktails during summer, so get to them right now! See how you like them and let me know in the comments!
Which one was your favorite?
